Solution Host includes a digital Accident Book for recording workplace incidents. It guides you through the required information step by step, helping ensure your records are complete and compliant.

Recording an accident

The Accident Book is a guided questionnaire covering the who, what, when, where, why, and how of the incident. Work through each section in full before submitting.

1. Go to Accident Book from the main menu.

2. Click to start a new record.

3. Work through the guided questionnaire, completing each field as prompted. Include: date, time and location of the incident; name and role of the person involved; description of what happened; any injuries sustained; and any immediate actions taken.

4. If the incident is RIDDOR-reportable, make a note of this in the record.

5. Review the completed record and submit.
