Solution Host can send you automatic email reminders to help you stay on top of compliance tasks - such as reviewing risk assessments or renewing your safety policy. This article explains how to set up those reminders and make sure your contact details are correctly configured.
Before you start
Make sure your email address and phone number are saved in your Profile Settings. This is where Solution Host pulls your contact details when sending reminders.
How to configure your profile
1. Log in to Solution Host.
2. Click your name or profile icon in the top-right corner.
3. Select Profile Settings.
4. Enter or update your email address and phone number.
5. Add your signature if required - this appears on method statements.
6. Save your changes.
How to set up Safety Pack reminders
From the main menu, go to Program Settings. You can choose to receive daily, weekly, or monthly email reminders for key compliance items including risk assessments, safety policy, and COSHH assessments.
1. Go to Program Settings from the main navigation.
2. Select the items you want to be reminded about (e.g. risk assessments, safety policy, COSHH).
3. Choose your preferred reminder frequency: daily, weekly, or monthly.
4. Save your settings.
✓ Tip: If your compliance work is project-based and short-term, you may not need review reminders for every document. Focus reminders on items that have a contractual or legal review requirement.
Note: Reminders are sent to the email address saved in your Profile Settings. If you’re not receiving emails, check your profile details and your spam folder.
What the Safety Pack overview shows you
The Safety Pack dashboard gives you a summary of what’s in date and what’s overdue, displayed as a graph. Use this alongside your email reminders to keep track of your compliance status at a glance.
