Overview
You start HR letters in Solution Host by downloading a template from Document Area and editing it in Microsoft Word. You then copy the edited text back into Solution Host to create the letter.
Step 1: Find the HR letter templates
In Solution Host, go to Document Area from the sidebar.
Look for the list of HR letter templates.
The templates are shown in alphabetical order, so you can scroll or search by name.
Step 2: Download the template you need
Find the template that matches your situation (for example, dismissal, disciplinary outcome, or contract change).
Click to download the template file.
Step 3: Edit the template in Word
Open the downloaded file in Microsoft Word.
If you see a banner at the top, click Enable Editing so you can make changes.
Complete all fields shown in grey:
Employee name
Dates
Job title
Any other case‑specific details
Check the letter for accuracy and clarity.
Step 4: Copy the final content back to Solution Host
When you are happy with the wording, press Ctrl+A (or equivalent) in Word to select all the content.
Press Ctrl+C (or equivalent) to copy the selected content.
Return to Solution Host.
You are now ready to create the letter in the Letters area.
